Glenn Bergevin is currently an engineer at Veryst Engineering® LLC, an engineering consulting firm located in the Boston area. Veryst provides services in product design, manufacturing processes, and failure analysis. Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. His background includes product design, with an emphasis on manufacturability (DFM/A) and quality; acoustic, fluid, and thermal system modeling, as well as rapid prototyping and testing. Glenn has experience in a wide range of manufacturing techniques and has designed structural, dynamic and acoustic products for mass production. He has developed optimization tools for liquid dispense systems in the semiconductor industry and ground source heat pump systems.
Mr. Bergevin has worked in product development, manufacturing, and applications engineering roles. He has applied finite element methods to evaluate reliability of jet engine tools, worked with end users to develop fluid handling solutions, and designed isolation systems to protect sensitive electronic components. He has experience with advanced metrology systems and has designed advanced injection molding tooling. While at UMass, Glenn worked in the CFD research lab and served as a teaching assistant for a senior level thermo-fluid design course.
