Dr. Lindsay Landry is currently an Engineer at Veryst Engineering LLC, an engineering consulting firm located in the Boston area.  Her primary areas of expertise are mechanical engineering, optimization and product development.  Dr. Landry has developed novel optimization software during her Ph.D. research to address a diverse set of engineering design challenges - from three-dimensional packing to the traveling salesman problem.  Dr. Landry's knowledge of optimization methods is used to identify high quality solutions to planning and scheduling problems, facility and circuit board layout optimization, and other highly complex engineering issues.  In addition to her expertise in engineering optimization, Dr. Landry is also experienced in the product development process - from ethnographic research and quality function deployment to prototyping and manufacturing.  She works with companies to improve new product success and avoid costly last minute design changes through careful front-end planning.

During her graduate career, Dr. Landry lectured in undergraduate classes on design for manufacture and product development processes.  Her multi-disciplinary coursework includes machine learning, product planning and development, and quantitative methods for product design.
