Brian Hendrickson is currently a senior engineer at Veryst Engineering LLC, an engineering consulting firm located in the Boston area. Mr. Hendrickson graduated from Dartmouth College with dual degrees in Mechanical Systems and Engineering Sciences and a minor in English. At Veryst, he specializes in providing structure to complex problems based on technical fundamentals. He develops multi-domain computational models that often incorporate electrical and mechanical components, transport phenomena, and non-linear constituent behaviors. These models provide insight into new technologies and help identify opportunities for improvement in existing systems. Mr. Hendrickson has additional expertise in system design, fabrication, and testing, with an emphasis on electromechanical devices. By combining sophisticated analysis with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) techniques and prototyping methods, he works to improve device performance while also reducing development time and production cost. Mr. Hendrickson has led projects in a variety of sectors, including automotive, semiconductor, biotechnology, and renewable energy. He consults regularly on new product development and failure analysis. He also advises companies on technology evaluation, technical proposals, and marketing.

While at Dartmouth, Mr. Hendrickson assistant taught graduate and undergraduate courses in mechanical and electrical engineering, including courses in computer-aided design (CAD) and finite element analysis (FEA). He has lectured on renewable energy, multi-disciplinary design, and strategic planning. He has been awarded three patents with six more pending.
