Interview with Veryst Principal on how to "Succeed as an engineering consultant"

Stuart Brown, P.h.D., provided "Tips to Succeed as an Engineering Consultant" in an ASME interview.  Dr. Brown says "you have to be bipolar" to be successful, explaining that "you have to be an expert, and then have to be able to do everything else."  He says that he's "learned over the years that clients hire a consultant for his or her expertise but after assessing the situation, consultants often recognize that the clients' problems require a totally different skill set."  To read the full article click here
