Veryst is proud to be participating in COMSOL Day: Government R&D, a free, online event taking place on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm (EDT). Dr. Nagi Elabbasi is the keynote speaker and will be talking about CFD Modeling of Particulate Flow in Open and Closed Spaces. Dr. Elabbasi’s presentation will highlight two models we developed at Veryst using COMSOL Multiphysics: one involving a hospital room with a coughing patient and the other involving two runners in an open space running six feet apart.
Dr. Andrew Spann will be part of a panel discussion on Multiphysics in Government Research, given that, as COMSOL reminds us, “The complex phenomena being researched and simulated in government R&D projects require greater accuracy and fidelity in modeling.” The event will include virtual presentations as well as break-out discussions with COMSOL technical staff.
