Congratulations to the Needham (MA) High School Robotics Teams for their great performance at the FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC)! Veryst is proud to support the Needham High School Robotics Club with funds that help pay for tournament fees and components for robot design and build.
FIRST is a leading nonprofit advancing STEM education, serving nearly 700,000 students in more than 110 countries. All three Needham teams qualified for the Massachusetts FTC State competition in spring 2022, after winning multiple awards at regional-level competitions. The students had a great time while they learned new skills and designed complex robots.
Just as impressive, the Needham team members are focused not only on helping each other expand their skills in areas such as CAD, complex mechanisms, and coding, they are reaching out to younger children in the district to engage them in STEM learning, with programs specifically for elementary and middle school students!
It’s exciting to see these engineers in the making!
