Webinar: modeling polymers, other nonlinear materials in COMSOL Multiphysics

Dr. Jorgen Bergstrom presented a webinar titled “Modeling Polymers and Other Nonlinear Materials in COMSOL Multiphysics Software” on June 2, 2016.  Analyzing nonlinear materials, including polymers such as thermoplastics and rubbers that often exhibit highly nonlinear behavior, often requires hyperelastic, viscoelastic, and viscoplastic material models.  In this presentation, Dr. Bergstrom discussed how COMSOL Multiphysics makes it possible to calibrate and use these material models easily in finite element analysis, including the software’s capabilities for specifying additional user-defined material models in a numerical simulation.  The one-hour webinar included a Q&A session.
