Graphtye, Inc. is a climate tech startup that has developed a groundbreaking carbon sequestration solution. The Graphyte process involves casting condensed biomass blocks and storing them within impermeable barriers at underground sites. Once stored, storage sites are monitored to ensure decomposition does not restart.
Graphyte was developing updates to their storage activities and reached out to Veryst at a critical point in their process design and certification to answer questions about the durability and safety of their storage solution in an underground site. Veryst developed a custom material testing plan and a Multiphysics model to validate that their design would achieve the design goals safely. We provided guidance on the durability mechanical stability of the design, allowing Graphyte and their partners to move forward with confidence in the success of the project.
“Veryst engineers were able to quickly understand our needs, synthesize our data, and provide clear guidance with their testing and simulations. They were able to effectively communicate to engineers and leadership, distilling the technical details into easy-to-understand results and recommendations”
