Presentation at 4th ASTM Symposium on Structural Integrity of Additively Manufactured Materials, Parts

October 7, 2019
Location
Oxon Hill, Maryland

Dr. Mark Oliver gave a presentation titled “Rate-Dependent Failure of Additively Manufactured Polymers” at the 4th ASTM Symposium on Structural Integrity of Additively Manufactured Materials and Parts. Dr. Oliver discussed the importance of characterizing the mechanical behavior of additively manufactured polymers at impact strain rates. He also presented methods for getting high-quality data and shared results for industrially relevant additively manufactured materials. This talk was of interest to those looking to expand the application of polymeric AM parts to a broader variety of load-bearing applications. The event was held October 7-10, 2019 in Oxon Hill, Maryland.  Learn more about this conference and Dr. Oliver’s presentation.
