Stuart Brown, Ph.D. was issued Patent 7,740,595 titled "Tissue and Fluid Sampling Device.”   This patent describes a biopsy needle with multiple sampling ports, enabling both multiple samples in a single procedure and the ability to map tissue samples spatially during a biopsy.
