Dr. Sean Teller is offering an online course on Testing and Modeling of Polymers for Solid Mechanics Simulations on four consecutive Tuesdays, starting January 21, 2025. The course will address the advanced and accurate modeling of thermoplastics, elastomers, TPEs, composites, and foams.
Dr. Stuart Brown spoke about “Modeling and Design of Reinforced Elastomeric Products for Oil and Gas Applications” and “High Strain Rate Testing of Polymers for Impact Simulations,” while Eric Schmitt spoke about “Calibration and Experimental Validation of Advanced Constitutive Models of Polymeric Materials at High Strain Rates.”
Dr. Nirmal Paudel presented a free, one-hour webinar on Modeling Eddy Current Inductive Sensors in COMSOL Multiphysics. He demonstrated a workflow for designing an eddy current sensor for nondestructive testing using the COMSOL Multiphysics software and its parametric sweep and optimization functionality for frequency domain simulations.
