Dr. Sean Teller offered an in-person training course at NAFEMS World Congress 2023 on "Polymer Testing and Modeling for FE Simulation." This course was intended for finite element engineers who simulate polymers and are interested in advancing their modeling skills.

Dr. Matthew Hancock and Dr. Joseph Barakat presented "Simulation of Lipid Nanoparticle Self-Assembly for mRNA Vaccine Production" as the keynote address at this free, online event. They outlined modeling approaches and discussed how models can be used to guide process and design decisions.

Veryst engineers present at 2023 Adhesion Society Annual Meeting

Dr. Mark Oliver spoke about “Hybrid Joint Concepts for Adhesive Bonding of Additively Manufactured Parts” and Dr. Scott Grindy spoke about “Calibrating Cohesive Zone Models for Structural Adhesives Bonded to Plastic” at this in-person event in Orlando, Florida.

Keynote speaker at COMSOL Day: AC/DC Simulations 2023

Dr. Nirmal Paudel was the keynote speaker at this free, online event where he discussed "Electromagnetic Modeling and Design of Magnetic Couplings." Dr. Paudel's presentation included demonstrating a workflow for designing a magnetic coupling using COMSOL Multiphysics and its parametric sweep functionality.

Webinar on Electromagnetic Modeling and Design of an Actuator

Dr. Nirmal Paudel presented a free, one-hour webinar titled "Electromagnetic Modeling and Design of an Actuator." He demonstrated a workflow for designing an electromagnetic actuator using the COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software and its parametric sweep and optimization tools in both static and transient simulations.
